Our advanced composite construction can make for an incredible power to weight ratio.  We all know that there are two main things you need to make a boat fast.  The first is horse power!  The second is light weight!  The true measure of a boats performance potential is the ratio between the two, power to weight.  With a full load of people, full fuel and an economical 4 cylinder Ecotec engine the power to weight ratio of the Ax5 is better than a V8 powered Donzi sweet 16... empty!  Now you can have V8 beating performance but on a 4 cylinder budget.  Or rig your boat with a big V8 for insane speeds!

The Ax5 is sold as a fully finished boat just less engine, drive and instruments.  Order the base boat or load it with options and then just add the engine and drive of your choice.  Instead of spending thousands more for an old tired Donzi or other classic and then spending months or years restoring and repowering it, the Ax5 is ready to accept your performance power now.  Forget messy fiberglass work!  We have done it all for you.  Forget used and tired, the Ax5 is all new.  Forget heavy and slow, the Ax5 uses the most advanced infusion methods, Soric core and advanced design to make the lightest and strongest boat on the market.

The base boat is ready to accept the engine and drive of your choice.  Be it a small block, big block, LS series engine or even an Ecotec.  The light and strong Ax5 performs well with 60 (about 40 mph) to 600 hp (110+ mph!)  You can use your engine with I/O drives, Arneson drives or jet drives.  We offer an optional transom bracket to mount an outboard from 60 to 300 hp and up to 600 lbs.  We also offer an optional Polaris/Weber style jet pump with molded intake tunnel for engines from 60 to 200 hp.
